A long kimono robe in lyocell, cut to fall rather than wrap. Misty blue with contrast piping at the edges, light enough to wear over pyjamas at four in the morning and presentable enough to answer the door in.
Lyocell is the reason it works. It is cool against the skin rather than warm, which matters when she is already overheating, and it moves like silk without needing to be handled like silk.
