Rancé is a French perfume house that dates its founding to 1795. These are triple-milled on a vegetable base and pressed in the house's own engraved molds, for a lather that cleans gently and leaves the scent behind lightly.
Corylopsis takes its name from winter hazel, which flowers pale yellow before its leaves arrive. Soft, green and quietly herbal, built on the classic fougère accord, and the one of the four that suits anyone.
