Rancé is a French perfume house that dates its founding to 1795. These are triple-milled on a vegetable base, pressed in the house's own engraved molds, and the scent is built from millesimé extracts, the materials Rancé holds back from its best production years.
Laetitia opens on bergamot, tangerine and orange blossom, settles into Bulgarian rose, magnolia and peony with nutmeg and cardamom, and finishes warm, on patchouli, labdanum, tolu balsam and vanilla.
It's the kind of thing she'd never buy herself and would use every day, which is most of what we're looking for.
